The Block star Leslie Cottone will flee the build after failing to cope with the 'nastiness and b***hing' on the set of the show. 

According to a New Idea report on Monday, the mother-of-two struggles to cope with the hyper-competitiveness of the show. 

The star then heads to Perth to spend time with her two children, Luca, 11, and Archer, seven, before attending a family wedding. 

'Leslie and Kyle can't stand all the meanness and b***hing that's going on,' a source told the publication. 

'This is not the type of show they signed-up for. They came here to build a house not tear down other people,' they added.

Leslie is glad to get the reprieve with her able to see her children. 

However, the insider did say the trip was planned in advance. 

The block team have been dubbed 'Team Switzerland' due to how neutral they have attempted to be with the other teams. 

The comments follow other co-stars, including Liberty and Eliza, who have also slammed the 'meanness' on the show.

The pair spoke during a radio interview on KIIS 101.1's Jase & Lauren last week. 

'You'll already sense an undertone of a mean girl culture between a couple of people. That unfortunately intensifies to the point where it comes to a head,' they confessed.

'There are so many shattered relationships. I think the real struggle is that Leah and Kristy from House 2 and 3 formed this clique and it was mean. So the rest of us are wounded,' they added.
