Shark Robot Vacuum And Mop Combo Robot Vacuum Reviews
The Shark AI is a solid robot vacuum that provides decent maneuverability and a decently big debris compartment. However, it is slower in room mapping than pricier models and could miss interpret common objects such as power cords as obstacles to avoid.
The Shark app lets you plan your cleaning schedule for your entire home from anywhere and also provides helpful reports. It also allows you to define no-go zones as well as other preferences.
EZ Robot Self Emptying
The EZ Robot Self Empty is a robot vacuum cleaner that makes cleaning your home an easy task. It has a self-emptying bagless base and cleans your home in rows, giving you complete coverage. The EZ Robot also comes with various features that make it more user-friendly to use. It comes with an automatic cleaning schedule that you can set up through the shark self emptying vacuum Clean app, or via voice control using Alexa or Google Assistant.
The EZ robot has three suction power modes: normal, energy-efficient 'Eco' mode, and high-power 'Max' mode. Its multi-surface brushroll can clean most bare floors, though it may struggle with carpets that have tassels or are too dense. It is able to detect obstacles such as low-lying objects, such as electrical cords, and move them around when it is necessary. It is quiet and comes with two brushes on the sides to help remove debris from edges and corners.
In our tests, EZ Robot cleaned my entire 1,100 square feet main floor quickly and efficiently. It took just over an hour to charge and was ready for its next cleaning session in less than half of the time. The EZ Robot also has smart sensors that keep it from falling down stairs or other obstructions, and it can draw detailed maps of your home, allowing you to identify areas that require attention.
It is possible to connect the EZ robot to your wireless network by using its Wi-Fi connection. Additionally, it can be controlled via the SharkClean app on iOS and Android or via voice using Alexa or Google Assistant. The EZ robot can be programmed to clean in different ways and you can even create virtual no-go zones to prevent it from getting out of certain areas. The app lets you mark rooms and create an organized cleaning schedule, which is a big advantage for busy families.
We tested the EZ Robot against the iRobot Roomba 694 and the iRobot did better in most categories. The iRobot is more durable and has a larger dirt compartment capacity because of its external dustbin, clears debris more effectively on carpets with high and low piles and is more maneuverable and lets you define virtual boundary lines using the companion app. The iRobot also charges faster and has longer maximum battery time.
Matrix Robot
This robotic vacuum comes with a lot of the features you would expect to find in a top-of-the-line robotic cleaner. Its LIDAR sensors enable it to map your home's interior quickly and accurately and allow for fully autonomous movement. The powerful brushroll pulls dust, dirt and pet hair out of carpets and floors. The self-emptying feature in the matrix allows you to save time and effort by not having to empty the vacuum after every use.
This is a great option for busy homeowners seeking an intelligent robot that can be left alone. The Shark app lets you control the robot and connect it to the Wi Fi network. The app lets you plan cleaning sessions according to your schedule, and also tells the robot where to go. This is a major improvement over the standard robot functionality, which gets stuck on obstacles or spends time trying to navigate back.
The Matrix is a fantastic choice for homes with lots of floors that are unfinished However, it may struggle to remove larger debris. It is taller than other vacuums and could be a challenge to get under furniture that is low. However, it still does a great job of keeping your home free of dust.
Another great aspect of this cleaner is its Matrix clean, which uses a precision grid to take several passes across the dirt, making sure there are no voids. It is equipped with a powerful suction, so it can handle all types of floors. It can pick pet hair from hardwood floors. This is a fantastic feature for pet owners.
The Shark app is simple to install and navigate. It allows you to choose areas or rooms that are dirty for Matrix Clean, and it can be scheduled using a timer. This feature is great for homeowners who are busy and don't have a lot of time to clean. It's also ideal for those who don't wish to purchase or rent a regular vacuum, but would like to be able to clean their homes on their own.
IQ
shark self-emptying vacuum IQ is a sturdy robot vacuum that is easy to set up and connects to Wi-Fi and comes with a variety of features for automation. It is great for low-pile carpets and floors that are not clean. It's also a good choice for pet owners and offers excellent maneuverability. It is equipped with features that help it different from other robots. It has features like visual mapping and self emptying.
The battery life is excellent, lasting over an hour in "Max" mode with high suction. In its energy-efficient "Eco" mode, the robot can run for up to two and quarter hours. The companion app shows the robot's current status, and the top has lights that indicate the level of charge. If both lights are green the robot is fully charged. If one light goes off and then the other changes to red, it means that the robot is out of power.
The app is intuitive and appealing, and it lets you control the settings of your robot. You can modify the power modes of your robot, receive push notifications, set up a cleaning schedule and check the history of your robot. It is compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant so you can control the robot with voice commands. It comes with an automatic mode that can adjust the power of cleaning in accordance with the kind of surface it is cleaning.
Click the 'Clean" button on the bot to clear an area. This is a lot faster than pressing the manual buttons on your remote. The robot will then start cleaning in that particular room, but if it gets low on battery or hits an obstacle, you can manually reset it by navigating the menu in the app.
The docking station of the IQ comes with an external dirt compartment which can accommodate up to thirty cycles of debris. This makes it less needless to perform manual maintenance, but is not as practical as a bag-less shark robot vacuum mop's full-size design.
In comparison to the iRobot Roomba 694, the IQ Robot has better overall performance on all types of floors it uses smart-pathing to create more efficient cleaning routes and comes with physical boundaries you can use to stop it from entering certain areas. It's also more durable, has a longer-lasting battery, and incurs lower costs.
AI Robot
The AI Robot is a 2-in-1 robot that's inexpensive and has great maneuverability. It also has intelligent features that make it a great choice for small homes. It's fast and efficient on all kinds of floors, is rarely stuck and comes with a large bin at its base that needs to be emptied every 45 days. It also has a feature that allows you to define boundaries for it to ensure it doesn't get lost in rooms or in areas around objects you do not want to come into contact with.
The only drawbacks to the AI Robot are that it's less dependable than my favorite overall robot vacuum (the insanely reliable Roborock Q5+) and has a slightly inferior performance on carpets with high pile. It's also a little louder, and it can be unable to remove debris that has escaped from cracks in tiles or planks. It has many of the features I look for in a robotic vacuum, such as the ability to empty itself, and is much cheaper than the Roomba 981 from iRobot.
This smart robot does a great job cleaning most surfaces. However, it's a bit weak on carpets with high pile. It's great on floors with no carpet, however, and its sensor system is strong enough to get over tassels of carpet and electrical cords without getting stuck. It's also among the only robots that has self-emptying docks that drastically reduces your hands-on maintenance and the recurring costs.
Similar to the EZ Robot Self-Empty and Matrix Robot, the AI Robot is compatible with Alexa and Google Home devices, so you can control it with voice commands. It is compatible with iCloud which means you can sync it with your iPhone or iPad and then use the SharkClean App to control it from any device.
The app has a lot of features however the interface can be a bit cumbersome at times. You can schedule, create virtual boundaries and check the health and charge status of your robot. You can also set reminders for cleaning and much more. You can also connect your smartphone to the robot via the app. This allows you to control the robot's smart features from any area of your home.
