How to Upgrade Items in Pokemon GO

The Upgrade is among the most valuable items in Pokemon GO. It allows trainers to transform Porygon2 into Porygon, and to improve their Pokedex.

While this item is quite uncommon, players can get it by spinning an image disc at a Pokestop, or as a reward for special events. What is this item used for?

Components

Upgrade components are things that can be put into trinkets, weapons or gathering tools to provide an attribute bonus or extra effect while the item is being utilized. They are an essential element in the process of crafting. They can be obtained through salvaging or purchased from vendors. You can also find them in the form of drops, whether from enemies or item spheres. They can be used to upgrade any weapon or armor that has an upgrade slot.

Utilizing upgrade components to maximize the amount of experience gained from upgrading equipment and weapons is key to achieving the highest level of progress in the game. Adding organic components to an upgraded item will increase its experience multiplier, whereas mechanical components will reduce it. The Best item upgrader combination is a high experience-multiplier organic component followed by a low-experience-multiplier mechanical component. This will increase your experience and make the next level of equipment or weapon much easier to attain.

The upgrade system is complex, and it's important to know how it works to maximize the benefits of your upgrades. The system keeps a running total of experience for the component you're upgrading. Each component has an experience multiplier that can be either positive or negative. When the total is at a certain threshold the system resets it to zero.

The amount of the experience gained by every upgrade component can be influenced by the item's hidden rank and its experience multiplier. The items with higher ranks will be more difficult to upgrade whereas lower-ranked items are simpler to acquire.

When a new upgrade to your hardware is installed, it's important to carefully remove all existing connections and fasteners that hold the old component in place. Keep them in parts tray to facilitate identification and storage. When the new hardware is installed, reconnect any wires or cables and connect the power supply to the electrical power. Then, test the computer by turning it on. If everything is connected correctly, the computer should boot up normally. This is an essential step to ensure that the new hardware will function seamlessly with your current system.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be an excellent tool to enhance your gear however, you must be aware of how to use them. Each glyph comes with a range of values that it can enhance a substat by increasing its rank, and higher-ranking Glyphs have higher-quality values. You can only upgrade a glyph once, so pick wisely. Glyphs can also be used only once and disappear after you use them on an item or artifact.

The most effective symbols are those that increase your chance to roll an affix of the desired type or tier. They are typically found on the Best item upgrade weapons or armor and other accessories. They can also be found on the Paragon Board and are usually worth the extra effort, but they may be hard to get.

You can find Glyphs in the Black Lion Chests or purchase them from the Trading Post. Certain glyphs are only used once, whereas others remain in place. These are ideal for items that have to be used frequently. The Glyph of Hope, for example, allows you to increase the likelihood of acquiring a specific affix when enchanting items.

Some glyphs can also be used to modify existing affixes. This is the case with gloves, boots, and belts, each capable of hosting four different affixes. The Glyph of Insight, for instance, changes the prefix into an experimental affix. This is a useful tool to have if want to maximize the damage output or want to make sure you'll get a high-quality an affix that fits a specific slot.

Once you reach level 50, the shape of the game dramatically changes. You'll no longer be able count on the campaign. Instead, you will have to navigate the Paragon Board, Nightmare Dungeons and grinds that are new to maximize your build.

The best glyphs will be ones that correspond to your character's specialization, for example the Exploit Glyph which increases damage against vulnerable enemies. Other excellent glyphs include Control Glyph, which boosts damage to enemies that are frozen, stunned, or slowed. Each glyph has its own radius that increases as it's upgraded. This makes glyphs a great method to improve your gear in the late game.

Reroll tokens

Reroll tokens are items for upgrading that allow players to change the attributes of an item. You can do this from the item window by selecting an item upgrader kit and clicking a green button that has circular arrows. The cost of the reroll is contingent upon the rarity of the item.

Reroll tokens are available in the Mystery Box, as a rare drop from skulled creatures or bought from the Trader. They can also be obtained through Event Items or by getting them from other players. They can be used for rerolling rings, armors, and weapons in increments of 2. Each reroll token gives players a chance to roll for a new attribute that could be higher or lower than the previous one.

Reroll tokens are not only used to upgrade the reroll however, it can also be recycled to reuse items. The rarity of the item determines how many points players will receive for recycling it. This is a great method to get rid of old equipment that hasn't been upgraded.

The rerolling token can be used to offer an entirely new weapon feature. These are shown to the player, who is able to choose whether to accept them or not. The player can offer a total of six items at a time and the number of choices increases as the item's value and rarity rise. This option is available via the Upgrade tab of the forge.

A reroll token can also be used to reroll the set bonus of an item, which can be redeemed if three or more items from the same set are incorporated onto an item. The set bonus can only be applied to units that belong to the same class. It is not applicable to other classes.

Other upgrades, like recipe items, can also be Rerolled. These items aren't sold in the shops or through Rerolls, but rather are transferred to the Non Droppable Pool when players choose a Food Card requiring new Ingredients or equipment. The reroll token can be used to reroll the extra bonuses, but the base stats (including all upgrades) and level remain unchanged.

Leveling

In the game, players have the ability to upgrade their equipment using an item upgrade (look at here) item upgrader kit. These items can be crafted by obtaining the required ingredients from the item upgrader NPCs located in major cities. Once an item is upgraded, it will be given an increase in its base stats. Some affixes can also be modified. This can result to a significant increase in an item's ilvl.

If an item is upgraded, it will display a blue icon in its top-left corner. It will also display the number of upgrades that are below its maximum level. The maximum level of the item will increase if there's more upgrades. The player can upgrade the item as many times as they wish. This will let them hit gear breakpoints which will increase the chances of rerolling certain affixes.

The upgrade feature for items lets players upgrade the level and quality of helmets, weapons, and armor. The process involves the purchase of items which are then exchanged by the item upgrader NPC to earn currency. The upgrader will show a preview of an item at its new level and will accept either Happy Tickets or Happy Stars to complete the upgrade. The item used for materials will be lost, but the upgraded item will keep its Item EXP to allow for future upgrades.

While there is no guaranteed method of obtaining an Upgrade but it does have a very low chance of falling when spinning Pokestops and Gyms. Players can use an Upgrade to evolve a Porygon into the form of a Porygon2, who will consume the item.
