Watching seeds germinate is great activity for kids, especially when the seeds develop quickly. Alfalfa is one of the easiest seeds to grow and should grow within a week. To observe the seeds sprout in the soil, sprinkle a few alfalfa seeds onto a piece of wet paper towel.

What you'll need:
Alfalfa seeds in a packet (about 1.5g)
a saucer or small plate
Three pieces of paper towel
A spray mister or a small water jug

How to Develop
Put 3 sheets of paper towel on a dish.
Then drain the water off the plate. The paper towel should be damp but the seeds should not be floating in water.
Sprinkle the seeds evenly onto the towel.
Place on a sunny windowsill and then add water to prevent the paper towel from drying out. To moisten seeds, حبوب البرسيم utilize a spray bottle or mister. Also, حبوب البرسيم add water into the saucer by using the help of a small jug or cup.
You should check your seeds daily to see how they're growing.

Troubleshooting
Alfalfa is a simple to cultivate seed that will germinate in 2 to 6 days. If the seeds fail to germinate within this time frame there are a few possible reasons why things went wrong:

Too dry. Seeds require water to grow. Seeds of alfalfa absorb approximately half their weight in water prior to they sprout, making them appear swollen. Seeds that are not moist enough won't germinate. To ensure that the seeds do not float in the water, add some more to your bowl. You can also try soaking your seeds overnight; just make sure you drain them and wash them in fresh water prior to spreading them out on the paper towel.

Too wet: Seeds that are humid may cause their roots and shoots to rot before they can grow. It's also possible that mould will start to develop on the seeds. It's fine for the paper towel to be wet however, the seeds shouldn't be floating in water. The excess water should be removed from the dish each time you mist or water your seeds.

Too cold or hot: The best temperature for alfalfa to grow is 20-25degC. If you're growing your seeds in winter, put them in a cool place indoors. You may need to be more frequent in watering your seeds when they are grown in very hot temperatures. They'll dry much faster.
