Seeds are a favorite of children as they germinate. This is particularly true when seeds grow quickly. Alfalfa ( Medicago the sativa) is a simple to grow seed that should begin to sprout within a week. To observe the seeds sprout you can sprinkle some alfalfa seeds on a piece of paper towel that is damp.

What you'll need:
A packet of seeds from alfalfa (about 1.5g)
a small plate or saucer
Three paper towels
an air mister, or a small water jug

How to Grow:
Lay 3 sheets of towel on a dish.
Then drain the water off the plate. The paper towel must be moist, however the seeds must not be floating in the water.
Spread the seeds evenly onto the towel.
Place the dish on a window with a bright sun and water to stop the towel from drying. To moisten seeds, use a spray bottle or mister to do so. Add water into the saucer using either a cup or a small jug.
Every day, be sure to check your seeds to see how they're growing.

Troubleshooting
Alfalfa can be a very easy to cultivate plant that will begin to be able to germinate in between 2 and 6 days. Here are some issues to keep an eye on when your seeds fail to germinate within this time.

Too dry. Seeds require water to grow. Alfalfa seeds absorb around half their weight in water before they sprout, making them appear swollen. If your seeds are too dry they will not sprout. To ensure the seeds don't get sucked up in water, add more to your plate. You could also soak the seeds over night; but make sure you drain them and rinse them with fresh water prior to spreading them out on the paper towel.

Too moist Seeds that are too wet may cause their roots and انواع بذور البرسيم their shoots to turn brown before they grow. Seeds can also turn moldy. It's okay for the paper towel to be wet however the seeds should not be floating on water. Each time you mist or water the seeds, rinse off any excess water.

Too cold or hot Alfalfa thrives at 20-25°C. If you're planting your seeds indoors in winter, set them in a warm area. It is possible that you will need to regularly water your seeds when they are grown in extreme temperatures. They'll dry quicker.
