Morale
Coaches have morale based on a number of factors including;
- wage (the higher the better).
- number of fighters they train (more fighters makes their job more interesting).
- how long they have been at your gym (they get bored after a while).
Increasing coach skill
A coach can increase in skill by training fighters. As his coaching ability increases, so will his wage expectation, though you can still pay him less than you'd have to pay a coach if you hired them directly at that higher ability.
Note
Of course, if you train at a gym you cannot see the actual skill value of the coach... Are they a high "strong" or a low "strong"? The quality of the training will be affected by that fact but only the gym owner will know the true value of the coach.
