With a Master of Work Treatment (MOT) level from Nebraska Methodist College, you're equipped to outfit individuals with necessary devices that boost their quality of life, even in the face of barriers. This 2.5 year program focuses on the technique of occupational therapy, stressing the use of prior abilities and expertise to boost the efficiency of OT practice and the development of innovative adult understanding abilities for continuous specialist advancement.

The program is developed to improve your previous research studies with the principles of occupational treatment technique and see you develop the interdisciplinary understanding and expert skills required to exercise as an OT. You'll embark on a variety of research-focused programs and full advanced training in scientific reasoning and health and wellness research study, enhancing your understanding of the duty of proof in occupational therapy method.

A bachelor's degree (or equal) and have completed university-level studies in human makeup, human physiology, Bookmarks and initial psychology. Domestic trainees who are accepted into the Master of Work-related Therapy Studies pay tuition charges. The Master of Work-related Treatment Researches is certified by the Job-related Treatment Council of Australia Ltd (OTC) and accepted by the Occupational Treatment Board of Australia (OTBA).

The Australian Government has authorized this master's program for earnings support settlements to be made to qualified trainees. Throughout the program, you'll carry out more than 1000 hours of supervised medical placements in UQ's Occupational Therapy Clinics located at the St Lucia university and in hospitals, colleges and various other healthcare organisations.
