With a Master of Job-related Therapy (MOT) level from Nebraska Methodist College, you're empowered to gear up clients with essential tools that improve their lifestyle, even despite challenges. This 2.5 year program focuses on the technique of occupational therapy, stressing the use of prior skills and Bookmarks understanding to enhance the effectiveness of OT practice and the growth of sophisticated grown-up learning skills for recurring expert development.
The program is designed to build on your previous research studies with the principles of job-related therapy technique and see you create the interdisciplinary knowledge and professional skills needed to exercise as an OT. You'll embark on a variety of research-focused courses and complete sophisticated training in scientific thinking and wellness research, furthering your understanding of the role of proof in work-related treatment technique.
A bachelor's level (or equal) and have completed university-level researches in human composition, human physiology, and introductory psychology. Domestic pupils who are approved into the Master of Occupational Therapy Researches pay tuition costs. The Master of Job-related Treatment Research studies is accredited by the Work Treatment Council of Australia Ltd (OTC) and authorized by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (OTBA).
The Australian Federal government has approved this master's program for earnings assistance payments to be made to qualified pupils. Throughout the program, you'll take on more than 1000 hours of supervised professional placements in UQ's Occupational Therapy Clinics situated at the St Lucia school and in hospitals, colleges and other medical care organisations.
