Inform your doctor immediately if you (or your child): might not be seeing as well as prior to starting SABRIL; start to journey, run across things, or are a lot more awkward than usual vigabatrin ocular side effects; are surprised by things or people being available in front of you that appear to find out of nowhere; or if your baby is acting differently than regular.

The Vigabatrin REMS Program is required by the FDA to make sure notified risk-benefit choices before launching therapy, and to ensure proper use vigabatrin while patients are dealt with. It is not feasible for your healthcare provider to know when vision loss will happen.

It is recommended that your doctor test your (or your kid's) vision before or within 4 weeks after beginning SABRIL and at the very least every 3 months throughout therapy up until SABRIL is stopped.
