Manager & Alliance Premier League: The Ultimate Proving Ground
The Manager Premier League (formerly known as the Pyramid) and the Alliance Premier League are prestigious monthly competitions designed to identify the most elite individual managers and teams in the game. Unlike lifetime stats, these leagues reset every month, rewarding those who demonstrate superior Fight tactics and strategic scheduling against high-level opposition.
1. The Scoring Formula
Success in these leagues is not just about the quantity of wins; it is about the quality of the opponents you defeat. Both leagues utilize a specific mathematical formula to ensure that wins against elite athletes are valued more than wins against "easy" competition.
The Base Formula: (Wins x 3 Opposition Hype - Draws x 1 Opposition Hype) = Total Points.
Opposition Hype: This is determined by the official Rankings of your opponents. Beating a world-ranked fighter provides a massive boost to your score compared to beating a regional prospect.
Excluded Bouts: To ensure competitive integrity, the following do not contribute toward point totals or fight volume: QFC (Quick Fight Championship) fights, draws, Kickboxing, and Grappling matches.
Internal Conflicts: In the Manager League, fights against your own roster are excluded. In the Alliance League, fights against Alliances members do not contribute to the overall record.
2. The Volume Adjustment (The "20 Fight" and "100 Fight" Rules)
To prevent hyper-active managers or massive groups from dominating through sheer volume, the league utilizes an adjustment system once a specific fight threshold is exceeded. This ensures managers maintain a high "Quality of Win" rather than grinding out low-level victories.
Manager League (Individual): If your total fights (minus draws) is 20 or lower, your total points remain as they are. If you exceed 20 fights, your total points are divided by the total number of fights to create an "Adjusted Points" level.
Alliance League (Team): Because Alliances consist of multiple members, the volume adjustment threshold is higher. The adjustment for Alliances begins only after exceeding 100 fights in a single month.
The Winner: The manager or Alliance with the highest Adjusted Points at the end of the month is crowned the champion for that period.
3. Historical Tracking and Records
Keeping track of your progress and the history of the league is a vital part of the competitive experience in MMA Tycoon.
League History: You can view the results of previous months using the in-game dropdown menu. Official historical tracking for the Premier League in its current format began in January 2026.
