Grow Your Own Alfalfa Seeds

Watching seeds germinate is a great activity for kids and parents, particularly when seeds grow quickly. Alfalfa ( Medicago indica) is an easy to cultivate seed which should develop in the next week. Sprinkle a small quantity of alfalfa seeds on a wet paper towel and watch their seeds sprout and grow.

What you will need:
The packet contains Alfalfa seeds (about 1.5g).
A small bowl or small plate
Three pieces of paper towel
A spray mister , بذور الملوخية or a small water container


How to grow
Take 3 pieces of paper towels and put them on top of one another flat on a plate.
Then, drain the water out of the plate. The paper towel must be damp but the seeds shouldn't be floating in water.
Sprinkle the seeds thickly onto the towel.
Put the paper towel on a sunny window with water to stop the towel from drying. To dampen seeds, make use of a spray bottle or mister. Also, add water into the saucer using the help of a small jug or cup.
Make sure to check your seeds each day to see how they're growing.

Too cold or too hot Alfalfa thrives when temperatures are between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. If you're growing your seeds in winter, place them in a warm place inside. You may need to keep your seeds hydrated more often should you cultivate them in extremely warm temperatures. They'll dry out much faster.
