Watching seeds germinate is a great activity for kids especially when they sprout quickly. Alfalfa is an easy-to-grow plant that can develop within a week. For a chance to observe the seeds grow, sprinkle a few alfalfa seedlings on a sheet of wet paper towel.

You'll require:
Alfalfa seeds in a packet (about 1.5g)
A small dish or saucer
Three pieces of paper towel
A small spray mister or water Jug

How to Grow:
Take 3 pieces of paper towel, then put them on top of one another flat on a table.
Take the water off the plate. The paper towel should be moist, but the seeds should not be floating in water.
Place the seeds in a uniform manner on the towel.
Put the paper towel on a sunny window with water to stop the towel from drying. To wet seeds you can use a spray bottle or mister. Or, gently add water to the saucer by using the help of a small jug or cup.
Everyday, you should check your seeds and see how they are developing.

Troubleshooting
Alfalfa seeds are very easy to grow and should sprout within 2 to 6 days. Here are a few things to watch out for انواع بذور البرسيم in the event that your seeds do not germinate in this time.

Too dry. Seeds require water to grow. Alfalfa seeds absorb around their weight in water prior to sprouting, which makes them appear larger. If the seeds you have are too dry they will not sprout. Make sure to add more water to your plate to ensure that the seeds are moist, but not floating on the surface. You can also try soaking your seeds overnight; just make sure you drain them and wash them in fresh water before spreading them onto the paper towel.

Too wet: انواع بذور البرسيم Seeds that are too wet can cause their roots and shoots to become rotten before they grow. There is also a chance that mould will start to develop around the seeds. It's fine for the paper towel to be damp but the seeds should not be floating on water. Drain excess water from the dish each time you mist or water your seeds.

Too cold or too hot Alfalfa grows best when temperatures are between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. If you are growing your seeds during winter, keep them in a warm spot inside. If you're cultivating your seeds in extremely hot temperatures, it is possible to water them more frequently since they'll dry out quicker.
